The Real Story Behind
S. C. B. All-Natural Skin Care Products
My inspiration for entering the skin care business stems from my desire to help people whom I encountered in my herbal Shop that was located in Germantown, Philadelphia and opened in 1983. Customers would come into my shop looking for help with various Illnesses, diseases, and ailments. Generally, I was able to help them with products that I had in stock. I found that many of my customers who suffered from skin rashes and other skin ailments did not have as much success. There were those who came in, seemingly unaware of the poor condition of their skin and there were many who came in panicking, requesting instant help with their problematic skin. My instincts reached out to both groups, and it made me sad to know that there was little that I could do about it with the products that I had in-house.
In the year of 1983, I was at a Health and Healing Seminar and met a world traveled naturopathic and Herbalist, Dr Emas. We exchanged information, and two days later, we met at my home and got acquainted. He asked if he could wash and massage my feet, knowing that the feet is connected too all parts of the body and all the nerve ending in the body. After massaging my feet, he rubbed them with a moisturizing cream. I asked about the product and she shared the ingredients with me. It was a bee’s wax based skin care and moisturizing product. The product had all natural ingredients that were also healing. Dr. Emas had never shared this information with anyone else. So, in honoring him, after his death, I decided to produce the skin care products with all natural ingredients. It was an instant success. Everyone who experienced the products gave me the most surprising positive responses I had ever heard of in the 8 years that I own my herbalist store. From that point on, I had been producing the product for my customers that was always in demand. From that point on, I produced that product as quickly as I could and, it was an instant success.
For many years, I tried to find products that would alleviate problems that pled my customers because they were the ones who I had no answers While scouting my supplies and reserves, I realized that I had to do something to help those people because their problems were urgent, painful, and irritating. There were orders coming in from all over the world. And I sales were going extremely well, I even had customers from Japan. The people who wrote me, sent their praise and thanks. It was sold and shipped out all across the country and to my customers across the Pacific. My all-natural cream help people who suffered with aids and small babies who had diaper rashes. Dr Emas is an ancestor now and I pray that he is smiling down on me.
My customer’s skin problems continued to frustrate and consume my thoughts, requiring me to do more research to find out what could work to make the lives of those suffering more peaceful and less annoying. Conditioning the skin was an area of good health that I had never thought about before. After months of research and experimenting with many combinations of ingredients, I remembered an old documentary that I saw about the pyramids. Bees wax was found in the tombs after thousands of years of burial in extreme conditions. That fact just blew my mind because when the bees wax was tested, it was in perfect condition. This memory launched me in to the study of bees, pollination, and the properties and effects of using it on the human skin. I was determined to find out if the Egyptians knew something that we never dreamed of or knew about. And the answer to that question yes… without a doubt, they were more knowledgeable about natural remedies, using herbs, oils, and healing plant life.
For several months, I experimented with many different ingredients, but I was thrilled to know that I had found my primary ingredient. Finally, deciding on the final formula for and asked some of my closest friends to try it out. Their feedback was 100% yes. So, I had my formula tested for by the FDA and it passed with flying colors. With the FDA approval, I began selling my product in my store, at cost because this project was meant to help people with serious problems. God had blessed me with a successful business and my primary goal in making the product was to help those with depressing, itchy, irritating, and embarrassing skin conditioning.
With the encouragement of close friends, I explored the idea of placing my products on the market. And, it is my pleasure, forty years, to offer my all-natural products to the general public, knowing that my God inspired products will give people a well-deserved relief that they can see and count on.
